Love this cream!
This is one of my new favorite face products. The package is cute and easy to store as well as travel with. There aren’t any weird smells, and it goes on very easily. It doesn’t feel too thick and is very comfortable to wear. The ingredients are definitely better than other brands, and my skin is in better shape than before using it. I feel like it could work for a variety of skin types, too!

Fantastic product, quality for very reasonable price
This is a fantastic face cream, department store quality for a reasonable price. Identical to one costing four times as much. Does not make my face break out. The squalene is an excellent moisturizer without weighing down the skin, leaving it comfortable. Absorbs quickly and makes you look luminous. I don’t notice any scent.

Truly Unscented but has a flaw
Perfect moisturising level for normal to combination skin. Lightweight and easy to spread, it has a gel cream texture. What makes it truly amazing is that it really has almost no scent, I really have to stick my nose in the jar to smell anything, once it’s on my face after a minute it’s not noticeable at all.I only use it as a night time moisturiser because the only flaw it has it has little rubbery bits that rub off. After apply this moisturiser, if you rub your skin with your hand, little bits of stuff come off, so I never use it during the day. Don’t know why it does that, very annoying, otherwise a perfect product.

I love this stuff
My skin was reacting terribly to Tretinoin. I couldn’t use anything with any perfumes or dyes. I was freaking out, I’ve never had to worry about that before. I tried EVERYTHING. I finally came across this brand after doing some research for natural/fragrance free/cruelty free products. I was skeptical but desperate. This is like my 6th jar. You can even order replacement pods and drop them in jar for less wasted packaging. This stuff is rich and creamy but glides on smooth and gel like. It’s very cooling to the skin. It dries down almost immediately and doesn’t leave you feeling sticky or slimy. No smell. No colors. I have had fabulous skin ever since. It cleared up the Tretinoin rash ASAP.

Light and moisturizing
I bought this product after I read about it. I was looking for something lightweight and moisturizing that made my skin look good. What I was using just made my skin look tired. I love the way it has no fragrance and my face looks better without make up..more youthful and plump. Definitely recommend

Nearly great, potentially poor hyaluronic addition
Pros:Very unique experience – it feels at first like a cream, then like a gel, then dries down with the occlusiveness of a cream. Which you’ll either love or find strange. It is technically fragrance free although the apple extract gives it a very pleasant smell (I suspect it’s this rather than the antioxidant factor that makes it so high on the list but I will take fragrance free as a technicality when executed well and is non irritating)Seemed good for summer/fall months (not heavy enough for a harsh winter though)Cons:The use of Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate – depending on the molecular weight of it can be a controversial ingredient due to studies that indicate it may cause inflammation when smaller than 50kDA. When I asked Honest Beauty what molecular weight they used they replied it was proprietary. I then asked if they could simply confirm if it was above or below 50kDA and they said they couldn’t divulge that information. Because they market themselves on transparency I found this shady and off putting. For context EVERY other company I’ve ever asked that question to has been able to tell me both the exact weight they use, even when it was below 50kDA.

My go to
This has been my favorite moisturizer for the past few years. I love that it doesn’t have fragrance and so long as you apply it after a serum it absorbs into your skin so nicely without feeling greasy or like it sits on top of your skin. I love the ingredients and that they are all effective but safe to use while pregnant and breastfeeding. It makes my skin soft and healthy

One of the best moisturizers in town
The media could not be loaded.
People are guessing the amount of product in their jars simply by eye-balling it which is never accurate. Attached is a pic of an empty pod and a video of a pod refill. I have yet to see a verified 0.90 fl. oz review. No, I don’t work for Honest Co. I have not had any problems with ingredient separation, missing product, or receiving previously used and returned products. Always verify the seller as there are a lot of shady ones out there.Pricing for the full jar is fair. Pricing for the pod refill is even better. It is well worth it when I compare Honest Hydrogel to luxury brands that fail the basic field test and try to make you pay for 20+ excessive/unnecessary ingredients. Hydrogel is blowing them out of the water. There is some resistance when spreading the cream at first, but the cream “bursts and melts” and becomes much more water-like. My skin feels dewy (some may describe it as oily or gross) and has the gloss of the moisturizer on it which I like. I don’t try to powder it because that’s the moisturizer at work. The bigger hyaluronic molecule sits on top of the skin while the smaller-sized molecule sinks into the epidermis. I recommend this for dry, oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin, of which I have all four conditions. The ingredients of this hydrogel don’t aggravate my skin. Sometimes, I reapply another layer later in the day but usually do not. When reapplying, the melting sensation doesn’t happen because there is already moisturizer on my skin. Hydrogel is my primary moisturizer both day and night and stays put (no pilling) under my sunscreen, whether tinted or not, and with bronzer drops mixed in. I don’t know how it is under foundation since I don’t wear foundation. This is unscented and not occlusive so this doesn’t clog my pores. I think people need to go over their skincare routines, products and procedures before blaming other products. If you put a high-quality product, such as Honest hyrdogel cream, on top of 1) unprepped or unclean skin along with 2) an already bad product on it, you will always get bad results from the first two issues no matter what you put over them. Then again, this product could really be garbage on any individual. My personal experience with Honest Hydrogel is clear, dewy, moisturized skin that is soothed and calm. It’s not the cure for everything, but it is an essential part of my routine. I have been using it since 2019

Hydrating Combination Skin
I was looking for a hydrating face cream for oily skin- this is definitely not one to wear during day but night cream is fantastic. So hydrating without being overly heavy, leaves my skin so soft by morning without greasy residue. Already on my second jar- not to mention clean ingredients!

Good but not amazing?
This is the first moisturizer I have ever used. I think I have naturally oily skin, so I only use this moisturizer after a deep clean of my face (with exfoliant). My skin is noticeably softer the next day. The product is too thick (and expensive) to use on a daily basis imo. I don’t really notice a scent, but that’s ok with me. I do think my skin has become a bit clearer, but that could also be due to the new exfoliant I have been using. I was hoping it would make my skin look plumper, but I think it just makes it softer (and maybe a littler clearer). I’ve been trying to take better care of my skin as I age, but I just can’t believe this little bottle is usually $20 (I got it on sale for $13). Not sure I will re-purchase when I run out. I love that the product is vegan/cruelty free. I have sensitive skin and I have not had any problems with irritation.
